【摘要】:Uraniumhexafluorideisabasicmaterialusedtopreparenuclearreactorfuel.Tobesuitableforthispurpose,thematerialmustmeetthecriteriaforisotopiccomposition.ThistestmethodisdesignedtodeterminewhetherthematerialmeetstherequirementsdescribedinSpecificationsC787andC996.ASTMCommitteeC-26SafeguardsStatement:Thematerial(uraniumhexafluoride)towhichthistestmethodappliesissubjecttothenuclearsafeguardsregulationsgoverningitspossessionanduse.Theanalyticalprocedureinthistestmethodhasbeendesignatedastechnicallyacceptableforgeneratingsafeguardsaccountabilitydata.Whenusedinconjunctionwithappropriatecertifiedreferencematerials(CRMs),thisprocedurecandemonstratetraceabilitytothenationalmeasurementbase.However,adherencetothisproceduredoesnotautomaticallyguaranteeregulatoryacceptanceoftheregulatorysafeguardsmeasurements.Itremainsthesoleresponsibilityoftheuserofthistestmethodtoensurethatitsapplicationtosafeguardshastheapprovaloftheproperregulatoryauthorities.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheisotopicanalysisofuraniumhexafluoride(UF6)andmaybeusedfortheentirerangeof235Uisotopiccompositionsforwhichstandardsareavailable.1.2ThistestmethodisapplicabletothedeterminationoftheisotopicrelationshipbetweentwoUF6samples.Iftheabundanceofaspecificisotopeofonesample(thestandard)isknown,itsabundanceintheothercanbedetermined.Thistestmethodisflexibleinthatthenumberoftimesagivenmaterialisadmittedtotheionsourcemaybeadjustedtotheminimumrequiredforaspecifiedprecisionlevel.1.3Thesensitivitywithwhichdifferencesbetweentwomaterialscanbedetecteddependsonthemeasuringsystemused,butratio-measuringdevicescangenerallyreadratio-of-molratiodifferencesassmallas0.0001.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardsstatementsaregiveninSection7.

【摘要】:ThispartofISO6145specifiesamethodforthecontinuousproductionofcalibrationgasmixtures,containingtwoormorecomponents,frompuregasesorothergasmixturesbyuseofcommerciallyavailablethermalmass-flowcontrollers.Byadjustmentofset-pointsonflowcontrollerstopre-determinedvalues,itispossibletochangethecompositionofthegasmixturerapidlyandinacontinuouslyvariablemanner.Byselectionofappropriatecombinationsofthermalmass-flowcontrollersandwithuseofpuregases,thevolumefractionofthecomponentofinterestinthecomplementarygascanbevariedbyafactorof1000.Therelativeexpandeduncertaintyofmeasurement,U,obtainedbymultiplyingtherelativecombinedstandarduncertaintybyacoveragefactor,k=2,isnotgreaterthan2%.Ifpre-mixedgasesareusedinsteadofpuregases,molefractionsbelow10canbeobtained.Themeasurementofmassflowisnotabsoluteandtheflowcontrollerrequiresindependentcalibration.Themeritsofthemethodarethatalargequantityofthegasmixturecanbepreparedonacontinuousbasisandthatmulti-componentmixturescanbepreparedasreadilyasbinarymixturesiftheappropriatenumberofthermalmass-flowcontrollersisutilized.Gasblendingsystems,baseduponthermalmass-flowcontrollers,andsomeincludingthefacilityofcomputerizationandautomaticcontrol,arecommerciallyavailable.
